I would also get them the torch that looks like a sonic screwdriver and tell them that if there are monsters it will expose the monsters. that way it will also give the kids a sense of security from having a tool that exposes monsters and when they never find any they will know they are safe.
also I love the bit about how he lets good monsters stay. people (of all ages) need to learn that just because something looks different doesn’t mean it is out to kill you, spiders kill all sorts of annoying insects and really should be respected as allies.

Harry Potter is like a fine whisky, it gets better with age.
Twilight is like crack, its bad for you and super addictive.
Glee is like ecstasy, its fun at first but you can get a really bad episode every now and then and the comedown is really bad.
Sherlock is like heroin, everyone is itching for their next fix.
Doctor Who is like red wine, mature and has a big history.
#supernatural is just a bunch of alcohol all at once to drown out the pain
also Doctor Who is good for the heart (what it does reinforce good morals and stuff)

The Doctor Who fandom
The First Fandom! The Fandom that must never end, hidden in plain sight. The fandom you have been running too all your life. Doctor Who.
(this is a bit of a joke about how DW is hidden as an Easter egg among hundreds of other fandoms, as little jokes or references. that once you watch Doctor Who it becomes clear that you were heading here the whole time, you have been conditioned to watch the show. from watching rugrats or magic school bus as a kid, to some of the latest episodes of all sorts of shows, when you finally watch DW it all becomes clear that your love of DW was not an accident)
and yes this is supposed to be in Doriums voice as it is a basterdization of his bit at the end of tWoRS
I would like to propose…
the creation of “Hate tags” these tags would be for characters/subjects that have a lot of haters to keep the hate from the love in the main tag. So tags like “River Song” would also have a “River Hate” tag that is purly for the haters so that they can share their opinion without ruing things for the people who love the character.
other tags that might get “hate tags”
- Twilight - I don’t like it but I think that all fandoms should be spared hatred
- Politicians and Political parties - if you hate Romney then it would go in the Romney hate tag because some people do like him
- Moffat - there are a lot of moffat haters but also a lot of moffat lovers I think we need to seperate the two
- and so many more.
Hate tags would be simple it would be the normal tag (ex. “River Song”) but then “hate” would be added to the end (ex “River Song Hate”). this would make things simple so that we won’t get redundant hate tags but also so you wont have to be “in the know” to know the right tag. I want you to spread this idea far in wide so just maybe we can make Tumblr a better place.
