"Not sure if I am an evil genius, or just someone who watches too much TV"
I am a Texas college student (studying Management of Information Systems), and I am a Tech enthusiast, computer geek and sci-fi fan.
I queue most posts but will do a post dump about once every few weeks.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
The Doctor never forgets about his best friend.
you know he tries to keep tabs on his former companions. like what eleven told jo. and Donna is specifically vulnerable, she doesn’t remember him and she is part timelord (if she was discovered some one might try to extract that part how River said many species would rip apart a planet for a timelord cell).

‘I think Donna loved the Doctor, but just didn’t want to tell him because she knew he loved Rose.’
I mean in a friend way maybe, or maybe even in a sibling way, but I really have a hard time seeing anything romantic between them, and I like it that way (every once in a while a platonic companion is nice)
The Doctor wipes Donna’s memories. From “Journey’s End”, the Series 4 finale.
You are an ass hole you know that right?
that the Doctor seems to always fall in love with blondes
And always has a ginger best friend
but what about Sarah Jane? he has actually called her his best friend but she is a brunet.
The Doctor visits old Donna Noble in the hospital, to say his last goodbye. He brings her back her memories. River is there with him, by his side, as he watches his best friend leave him forever.
Few days after that, River goes to the library.

This scene makes me burst into tears every time I rewatch The Sontaran Stratagem.
Donna’s so happy, happier than she’s ever been in her life, traveling around with her Spaceman in that little blue box. She can tell Wilf exactly how she feels about the Doctor, but she’ll never, ever tell him. She just thinks he knows, that he’ll figure it out from their daily interactions and she’ll never have to risk telling him just how much he means to her. He’s her best friend and she loves him. She knows that they have forever.
And then, when forever comes and goes, it’s too late. There’s no time left and suddenly she’s gone because the Doctor can’t stand to let her die. He protects her life, just as she trusted him to do, but at the most terrible price. And when Ten has to wipe her mind completely of every trace of himself and their time together, he must have seen this in her memories. He must have known exactly how she felt and regretted the missed opportunity, because he knows what it feels like.
Because the only lines in the Tenth Doctor’s tenure more heart-rending than “And never tell him I said that” are “Oh, she knows” and “Rose Tyler…”

#”Oi why don’t you just pull it closed behind you instead of snapping?”#”Donna…” #”Suddenly you can snap the doors closes and now you think you’re so bleeding impressive. #Congratulations Alien Boy you only discovered the automatic door years later than humans.” #”Hey that’s not-” #”Clearly now I see why Martians are considered so special. #Maybe in a few years you’ll even invent the Clap On light switch system for the TARDIS!” #”I’ll have you know-” #”Just shut it Dumbo. Let’s get out of here before you do something REALLY brilliant#like invent one of those keys with an auto-lock feature for the TARDIS. #Are you sure your species was supposed to be incredibly intelligent and advanced or did you just read that somewhere?” #And then Donna spends the next few days walking around the TARDIS clapping and yelling ”Oi! I wish you would hurry up with the lights! #I feel so incredibly un-advanced having to manually press all the switches!” #And the Doctor grumbles under his breath about ungrateful humans who don’t appreciate his brilliance #(And later when he DOES make the auto-lock key for the TARDIS he thinks about Donna and smiles.)
