So like, what if Keanu Reeves was a companion in 2012, then again in 2391? 

well he wasn’t the doctor’s companion but he did travel trough time as Rufus’s companion (in Bill and Ted), so maybe its just if you were an actor who traveled in time in a time machine similar to the TARDIS
